Oil and Water Technician - Heathrow

If you have experience in the vehicle maintenance sector, you are the expert we are looking for! We have a position at our Heathrow Airport site for an Oil and Water Technician to join our team.

TCR UK Ltd are market leaders within the field of Ground Service Equipment repair and maintenance, and is part of TCR Group, the leading global provider of integrated solutions for Ground Support Equipment (GSE) in aviation.

 

The Role:

  • Topping of battery levels for all TCR batteries

  • Cleaning excessive dirt from battery tops and removing any FOD

  • Checking Charging Shelters and all Chargers for damage

  • Conducting visual inspections of battery terminals and general condition. Reporting back to the Supervisor with detail of any corrosion of damage to batteries

  • Conducting oil and water top-ups

  • Reporting excessive usage of oil and water to the Workshop Supervisor

 

The Person:

  • Ability to deal effectively with people at different levels

  • Good team player, willing to listen

  • Have a ‘Can Do’ attitude and a proactive approach

  • Flexible and adaptable

 

Experience:

  • Understanding of workshop procedures and systems

  • Experience of working in a customer focused environment

  • Experience in the vehicle maintenance sector
