About the Job

 

This is an exciting time for our company! We are in full transition from a European leading service provider of airport equipment solutions to a global leader. This brings challenges from a strategic, commercial and organisational point.  As our Group auditor you lead the enhancement of the internal audit function under the supervision of our Company Secretary/General Counsel.  You are a key driver in the improvement and optimization of internal processes, policies and procedures.  For this position, we are looking for a highly motivated, pro-active and adaptable business partner with excellent communications skills, who excels at bridge building across organizational departments.

 

Where you’ll create the most impact

 

1.  Audit:

  • Performing internal audits, at a worldwide level, across the entities.
  • Assessing internal control systems and business processes in order to assure Management that risks have been adequately identified, that internal controls have been suitably designed to match business risks, and that they are operating as intended.
  • Make recommendations for improvements where scope for this is identified (it is for management to agree and implement these recommendations). 
  • Assessing the relevance, reliability and integrity of management and financial information in order to assure the quality of such information.
  • Advising management on controls, procedures, guidelines based upon the above mentioned analysis and business risk assessment.
  • Reporting the audit findings to the risk and audit committee and Senior management.
  • Following up with management the implementation of corrective actions agreed with the business based upon audit findings.

 

2.  Risk Management:  assist TCR management in identifying, estimating and evaluating risks against the organisation’s strategic objectives, to report of the risks and the effectiveness of mitigation strategies and the acceptability of residual risks as part of a continuous process on an enterprise basis.

 

3.  Corporate Governance: Assist in the review / update of TCR’s governance framework:

  • ESG surveys and benchmarks
  • CSR Report
  • Group policies and procedures
  • Risk Register

 

The Ideal Candidate

 

  • Typically has a university degree in Business Administration, Auditing, Finance, Accounting or related field
  • Is an excellent communicator with a healthy dose of professional humility and curiosity
  • Has relevant experience in highly professional environment (eg professional services).
  • Has strong analytical skills and a critical approach
  • Has excellent knowledge of English, other major international languages are a plus
