Competitive salary - from $75,000 to $85,000 - depending on experience
As an Automotive Technician at TCR, you will:
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and maintain heavy vehicles, utilizing technical skills and tradesman experience to conduct repairs and preventive maintenance of ground support equipment.
• Report daily to the Shift Supervisor however will ultimately be under the management of the State Service Manager.
• Conduct preventive servicing, data collecting as well as repair, and maintenance tasks that reflect a trade standard.
• Promote a safety-first approach.
• Collaborate with fabricators, technicians, and assistants to develop and implement effective solutions.
• Utilize the wide variety of equipment and the unique nature of aviation equipment as an opportunity for you to bring a wide collection of knowledge & skills to the role.]
• Work with multiple unique GSE specialized equipment.
• Have 5 weeks annual leave + 2 additional "Health and Happiness" leave days.
• Have your uniforms provided and laundered, a competitive salary and an excellent mentorship.
To be successful in this role, you will have most of the following skills and experience:
• Relevant Mechanic Trade Qualification.
• Have your own tools.
• Exposure to diesel engines, hydraulic systems and electrical fault finding is highly regarded.
• Hold a current and valid Driver's License.
• A strong focus on safety standards and relevant company policies & procedures.
• Experience working within procedural guidelines.
• Good communication skills and proactiveness.
• A positive attitude and proactive mindset, with the ability to work autonomously as well as being a good team player.,
→ Pre-employment police and medical checks are mandatory for this position.
