ABOUT THE JOB

This is an exciting time for our company! A lot of work is about to get done as the company scales. We are in full transition from a European leading service provider of airport equipment solutions to a global leader.

Being service minded, proactive and a true team player is crucial to succeed in the role. We are looking for a true business partner who is focused on bringing value by overseeing all HR matters from recruitment through advising managers, ensuring correct administrative processes and negotiating with trade unions. 

The Nordics region employs about 130 employees based across the 4 countries  You will be an active member of the local management team and report to the Regional Director of the Nordics and dotted line to the HR Director of the group. You will be based in Finland or Norway.

WHERE YOU’LL CREATE THE MOST IMPACT

  •  Drive the best employee experience through overall management around our HR policies, strategies and roadmap;

  • Identify great talent, internally and externally.

  • Work closely with management and team members to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.

  • Support and advise leadership and employees on the interpretation and application of employment laws, employee agreements and HR policies and procedures;

  • Ensure the effective implementation of HR initiatives e.g. performance management, training  & development,  optimisation of the recruitment process, career development plans for specific positions, annual salary review, HR policies and procedures, etc.

  • Work in partnership with TCR’s global HR team to ensure local HR initiatives are in line with TCR guidelines and our talent management strategy;

  • Monitor, evaluate and nurture key relationships to maintain good industrial relations with partners such as unions, sectoral groups and other stakeholders;

  • Remain up to date with employment legislation and best practice, communicating relevant information to the appropriate people internally.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • To be considered for this role you have relevant, progressive experience in supporting front-line and senior leaders;

  • You are able to switch between strategic and tactical work daily and you are open to rolling up your sleeves whenever needed;

  • You are talented in building relationships and have effective and concise verbal and written communication skills;

  • You tailor your approach and make the balance between comprehensive or assertive behaviour whenever required;

  • You are very switched on and have a focus on getting things done;

  • You are a team player who acts with a sense of urgency and adapts to a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

  • You have knowledge of social legislation in Finland or Norway, knowledge of the social legislation in the other countries is a huge plus  ;

  • You are based in Finland or Norway;

  • You thrive in a dynamic, multicultural and diverse environment where work can be non-routine and complex.
