We have an exciting role as a fabricator within our Australian business for an enthusiastic and motivated trade-qualified person in either Welding/Fabrication keen to join a supportive and collaborative team on a full-time basis based out of our Melbourne Airport workshop.
Position Description:
The fabrication position involves utilizing your technical skills and experience as a tradesman to conduct repairs and preventive maintenance of ground support equipment.
You will report daily to the Shift Supervisor however will ultimately be under the management of the State Service Manager.
Your role involves conducting preventive servicing, data collecting as well as repair, and maintenance tasks that reflect a trade standard.
The wide variety of equipment and the unique nature of aviation equipment means there is an opportunity for you to bring a wide collection of knowledge & skills to the role.

Requirements:
Relevant Trade Qualification in Welding/Fabrication
Previous experience with aluminum welding to AS/NZS 1665
Previous experience with Basic Mechanics & Vehicle Servicing
Must hold a current Driver's License
A strong focus on safety standards and relevant company policies & procedures
Willingness to undertake ASIC background checks for security access
Willingness to undertake a pre-employment medical check
Be able to pass a drug and alcohol tests
